Smart Skipper™ Temperature Control Mate (BGWS-11)
Smart Skipper™ Temperature Control Mate (BGWS-11) is a marine sensor that remotely monitors temperature and humidity in and around your boat. Configure your temperature and humidity alarm settings from the Smart Skipper™ app. The Temperature Control Mate automatically turns ON the load output (15 Amps max) when the temperature or humidity is outside of the set thresholds. The Temperature Control Mate includes an additional alarm input that can be configured around your vessel’s needs. In case of a power failure, the internal backup battery will keep the Temperature Control Mate connected. The dedicated onboard smart device will push-notifications to your smartphone.

Ideal locations for the Smart Skipper™ Temperature Control Mate would be the boat’s cabin, freezer, fish holding tanks, etc. The compact design of the device allows out of sight installation. The device has an internal humidity sensor and a 16.4 ft / 5 m external temperature probe. One additional alarm input can be configured around your vessel’s needs. In case of a power failure, the internal backup battery will keep the Temperature Control Mate connected. The dedicated onboard smart device will push-notifications to your smartphone.

The Temperature Control Mate sensor comes with an external temperature probe (16.4 ft / 5 m), two screws, a strip of velcro, and a reset/power tool. The BGWS-11 sensor communicates with other Smart Skipper™ Mate devices utilizing the robust and reliable Bluetooth mesh technology.
