Mount the device inside your boat, connect the supplied GPS antenna, and configure your system from the Smart Skipper™ mobile app. The GPS Smart Mate combined with the Smart Skipper™ app allows users to track the vessel’s location and set a geofence boundary using cellular and/or WiFi connection to the cloud. Set the home location and receive push notifications when your boat travels outside of the designated geofence. Geofence radius can be adjusted between 100 ft to 3,200 ft (30 m to 975 m). A daily log (inside the web portal) allows users to track the boat’s previous location.
The GPS / Geofence Monitoring Mate includes two additional alarm inputs that can be connected to motion detectors, open / close sensors for doors and hatches, and other alarms. The BGWS-00 sensor communicates with other Smart Mate devices utilizing the robust and reliable Bluetooth mesh technology. In case of a power failure, the internal backup battery will keep the GPS / Geofence Monitoring Mate connected. The dedicated onboard smart device will push-notifications to your smartphone.
The Smart Skipper™ GPS / Geofence Monitoring Mate device comes with an external GPS antenna (9.8ft / 3m cord), a 12/24 Vdc Dual USB-Type A,C Charger Adapter, two screws, a strip of velcro, and a reset/power tool.
