Smart Skipper™ High Water Alarm Sensor (SM-HW)
The Smart Mate High Water Alarm (SM-HW) combines the proven sensor technology of our BG-HW with the ability to directly connect to the Smart Skipper™ system. Remotely test the sensor before heading out to ensure the safety of the crew and vessel.
USCG 46 CFR 28.250 & 182.530 compliant. The SM-HW detects salt or fresh water. Water in any compartment of a vessel is a potential crisis. Early warnings of water entering the hull or leaking from plumbing is extremely important for the safety of the vessel and passengers. As soon as water is detected, an alert will be sent to all connected users as well as activating the alarm output (1 Amp max). The SM-HW can be easily integrated into any vessel's alarm system. Configurable splash protection - disabled by factory default.
The internal backup battery will keep the SM-HW connected in case of a power failure and alert you to a potential problem.
The SM-HW also comes with one alarm input to be configured how you want. For example, you might want to add a smoke detector in the same compartment.
Each SM-HW comes with a mounting bracket that attaches horizontally or vertically to the bulkhead or hull with #8x0.75” 316 stainless steel screws.
