Blue Guard Innovations Exhibits in Amsterdam RAI at METSTRADE 2018
The Blue Guard Innovations (BGI) exhibits boat switches & sensors that detect oil and fuel in bilges, as well as high water. This will be the first time BGI will be exhibiting in Europe on stand #12.612 at METSTRADE, 13-15 November at Amsterdam RAI.
The innovative, patented range of solid-state smart switches and sensors detect oil and fuel as well as water in the bilge and engine compartments, preventing them from accidentally discharging overboard.
The flagship product in the BGI range, the BG-ONE, detects oil/fuel and water in the bilge and engine compartments, preventing water pollution. The BG-ONE was the winner of the product innovation award in the Mechanical Systems category at IBEX last month. It has been nominated for the DAME Design Award 2018 in the machinery, propulsion, mechanical and electrical systems, and fittings category.
The BG-ONE functions as a bilge pump switch that helps prevent oil or fuel from being pumped into oceans, lakes, and waterways.
The BGI range also includes a Solid-State Bilge Pump Switch with High Water Alarm Sensor (BG-SWA) and other switches, sensors, and alarms.
