Roving Watchman & Fire Alarm System Kit (BGWS-RW1)
The Roving Watchman & Fire Alarm System Kit consists of Alarm Watch Mate (BGWS-K9), Roving Watch Mate (BGWS-K8), First Alert UL 217 Smoke Detectors SA 520 and SA 511.
This is the base required configuration. Additional BGWS-K9 (Roving Watch Mate) should be added depending on the number of roving watch stations required (1x Roving Watch Mate for each area).
Additional First Alert SA511 smoke alarms are required (replace up to 12 existing smoke alarms with SA511).
The Alarm Watch Mate is to be placed in master or crew quarters. If the roving watchman does not check in on any of the Roving Watch Mates in designated sleeping quarters and compartments, an audible buzzer will sound and the integrated strobe activates. The alarm can only be deactivating by pressing button on Roving Watch Mate on the station that was not checked. In the case of fire alarm activation, all Roving Watch Mates’ sound and light alarms will be activated.
The fire alarm system will continue to work 24/7 even when the Roving Watch system is disarmed.
