BG-BAC Backing-up NMEA 2000 Light Bus and Other Chritical Vessel Instrumentation

Blue Guard Innovations, LLC (BGI) announces the release of its newest product, the Battery Backup Controller (BG-Bac). The BG-BAC combines two separate 12 Vdc batteries on board a vessel into one output, switching to the auxiliary battery when the main battery goes down.

The BG-BAC has an output of 12 Vdc and will support up to 3 Amps. A typical power backup application is for a NMEA 2000 Light Bus or other critical instrumentation. When power interruption isn’t an option, the BG-Bac ensures connected mission critical devices will remain operational. Its compact size, 4.1 in x 2.2 in x 0.8 in, and blade connectors make for an easy installation.
