BGI Launches Advanced Bilge Pump Control Panels

Display and Monitor Your Bilge Pump Functions with BG-CP-A

Blue Guard Innovations (BGI) today announced the release of its newest product, a Bilge Pump Control Panel & Alarm (BG-CP-A). The BG-CP-A is a marine switch panel that displays all the essential functions of a bilge pump system.

BGI is a privately held company based in Broomfield, Colorado that drives innovation within the marine industry. In 2018 BGI released its flagship product, and first of its kind, a Bilge Pump Switch with Oil / Fuel Alarm Sensor (BG-ONE). The BG-ONE has won numerous awards including an IBEX Innovation award in 2018, a DAME honorable mention in 2018 and a Pittman award in 2019. Since the launch of the BG-One, BGI has gone on to release other switches and sensors, panels and IoT monitoring system.

The BG-CP-A delivers more than just the traditional “off/on” functionality. This advanced panel is equipped with an alarm that can be used as a high water, oil or any available alarm on the vessel. It has an easy to read four-digit display that shows the live voltage on a pump then cycles through bilge pump count, run time, input voltage and current output. In the event of a power outage to the panel’s on-board memory will continue to store the pump count. It may be compact in size, 3.5 in x 2.1 in 2.4 in (8.9 cm x 5.3 cm x 6.1 cm), but not in features.

The new control panel and other products in the BGI range will be demonstrated live next week during IBEX at booth 3-2127.
